Connecticut Universal Roofing Company
Roofs are the whole job.
Not a line on a general contractor's list. Not a side trade. The thing itself.
A roof is the one part of a house that never gets a day off. Sun in July, ice in January, wind whenever it feels like it. Everything under it, the framing, the insulation, the drywall, the family, depends on it doing its job quietly.
That is the standard we work to. Not "good from the street." Good from the ridge down, because we are the ones standing on it.
We work anywhere in Connecticut. Shoreline salt air, hill-town snow load, city triple-deckers, new construction. Different roofs fail differently, and the fix starts with knowing which one you have.
A lot of our work comes through insurance. Storm claims have their own language, and we speak it. We photograph the damage the way carriers want it, meet the adjuster on the roof, and keep you out of the middle.

How we price
The estimate is free and it happens on your roof, not from the truck window. You get photos of what we find and one written number.
That number holds. If we open the roof and the decking underneath tells a different story, you hear about it before we touch it, with pictures, and you decide. Nobody gets a surprise invoice.
Every roof ends at the ridge.
The last piece installed is the cap. That is the orange in our mark. What goes on your roof
Architectural shingle
The Connecticut workhorse. Dimensional shingles installed to manufacturer spec, with the underlayment, ice barrier and ventilation the warranty requires.
Standing seam
Costs more once, then outlasts everything around it. Sheds snow, shrugs off wind, looks sharp doing it.
EPDM and TPO
Shingle roofs on residential homes, full stop. Doing one thing means doing it right, every time.
